Listening to Alive in 1976 and thinking they looked scary! Talking to schoolmates about the band and watching the Paul Lynde Halloween special ... it was my "Beatles on Ed Sullivan" moment. What KISS song sends chills up your spine each time you hear it? ANYTHING from Alive or Destroyer! What have you done to earn your stripes in the KISS ARMY... how have you shown your support for KISS? I've been a fan since 1976: I organized a KISS tribute band in 1979 and 1980 ... I play drums, (so I was Peter), I plastered every inch of my walls with KISS pictures & posters … more like "KISS Wallpaper", I travelled to Montreal, Quebec from Halifax, Nova Scotia to see them on the reunion tour in 1996, I lined up at the Virgin Mega Store in Vancouver for the midnight release of Psycho Circus, I stood in line for the 1999 New Year's Eve concert in Vancouver, (the first day tickets went on sale) and I met Gene Simmons in 2002 in Vancouver at New Music West where I asked him a question at a Key Note Speaker event and got an autograph on the First Printing-Hard Cover copy of KISS and Make Up. |
